Title X, our nation's family planning program, provides funding for birth control, cancer screenings, HIV testing, and other lifesaving care. Anti-choice House leadership wants to completely eliminate this crucial funding particularly for Planned Parenthood. That would cut off millions of women from care they have no other way to afford, leaving them at increased risk of sickness and death.Click here to take action.
This attack on family planning funding is not an isolated incident. It's part of a coordinated campaign meant to shut down Planned Parenthood health centers and deny women access to basic health care.
We can't afford to let them get away with it. Speak out now make it clear to Congress that the services that doctors, nurses, and other medical staff provide in Planned Parenthood health centers are too important to be turned into just another political issue. If we don't stand together now, these attacks will surely continue, and women everywhere will pay a terrible price.
The new leadership in Congress campaigned on a promise to focus on jobs and the economy. Now that they're in power, they are instead focused on relentlessly attacking Planned Parenthood and the women, men, and teens who rely on us. They've shown where their priorities lie: destroying Planned Parenthood and eliminating access to reproductive health care even at the cost of denying women medical services that could save their lives.
Planned Parenthood is the nation's leading sexual and reproductive health care provider and advocate period. Planned Parenthood gives millions of women the means to control their own reproductive health, from sex education to birth control. Ending Title X funding is the first step in a campaign to stop us from providing lifesaving care to women in need.
