Charlestown: Massachusetts Citizens for Life calls for immediate cessation of all federal funds going to Planned Parenthood until Congress has investigated the organization's sale of body parts. A video just released shows Planned Parenthood National Director of Medical Affairs, Dr Deborah Nucatola, stating that Planned Parenthood abortionists can and will alter late abortion procedures to facilitate the harvesting of intact baby body parts – she specifically mentions hearts, lungs, livers, even intact heads – in order to fill specific pre-orders.
In the video, Nucatola explains, "We've been very good at getting heart, lung, liver, because we know that, so I'm not gonna crush that part, I'm gonna basically crush below, I'm gonna crush above, and I'm gonna see if I can get it all intact."
Nucatola states that they perform partial birth abortions, which are illegal. Federal law also prohibits the sale of body parts of aborted babies. In fact, the sale or purchase of human fetal tissue is a federal felony punishable by up to 10 years in prison. She is aware of Planned Parenthood's liability and outlines steps to cover it up.
According the MCFL President, Anne Fox, "When we hear about trafficking in body parts in China, we are horrified and want to step in. It is unconscionable to have it happening in this country. Planned Parenthood's com-modification of unborn babies, even viable ones, must be abhorrent to all people"
