Then the students were privileged to hear Becky Miller, Director of Education for Rhode Island Right to Life, speak about Euthanasia and Assisted Suicide. She was excellent! Her personal experience about the availability of suicide is powerful! I asked Becky to recommend materials for the students and for the rest of us who must consistently fight Assisted Suicide - Doctor Prescribed Suicide - for the next many months. This is what Becky replied:

The two best books I've read on euthanasia are:
"Forced Exit: The Slippery Slope from Assisted Suicide to Legalized Murder" by Wesley J. Smith
"Death as a Salesman: What's Wrong with Assisted Suicide" by Brian P. Johnston (This one is VERY easy and quick to read and understand)
A couple others are:
"Assisted Suicide & Euthanasia, past and present" by J.C. Willke
"Power over Pain: How to Get the Pain Control You Need" by Eric M. Chevlen, M.D., and Wesley J. Smith
The best documentary on the issue is "The Terri Schiavo Story" hosted by Joni Eareckson Tada

This Doctor Prescribed Death - Physician Assisted Suicide - will put everyone except babies before birth at risk. It is like abortion for the born, using the same reasoning. Thanks for your commitment on this! Anne
