Physician Assisted Suicide threatens MA!

There has been a bill at the State House, filed at the request of a citizen, which didn't seem to be going anywhere.  Now people around the state are receiving "push calls" designed to convince them that Physician Assisted Suicide (PAS) is a good thing.

The Joint Committee on the Judiciary of the Massachusetts General Court (state legislature) has just announced that House Bill 1468, An Act Relative to Death with Dignity, will be on the docket for a hearing scheduled for tomorrow, Tuesday, February 23, 2010 at 1 pm in Room B1 at the Massachusetts State House in Boston.  Anyone who wants to testify against the bill should contact Marie Sturgis at the Massachusetts Citizens for Life office (617-242-4199 X 227).

A copy of the bill can be found online at http://www.mass.gov/legis/bills/house/186/ht01pdf/ht01468.pdf;
