SEN. BROWN VOTED RIGHT ON THE HOUSE AND SEATE VERSIONS OF THE CONTINUING RESOLUTION!

The senate just voted on House bill, H.R. 1, the long-term Continuing Resolution approved by the House in February that contains the Pence Amendment, reinstates the Mexico City Policy, stops abortion funding in the District of Columbia, and de-funds the UNFPA.  The vote was 44-56.

After defeating the pro-life House bill, senators also defeated the Senate-sponsored long-term budget bill, which included none of the pro-life provisions, 42-58.

Senator Brown voted for the pro-life House version and against the anti-life Senate version.  The votes were mostly along party lines, but some Republicans voted against us.

Please call in your thanks immediately!  (202) 224-4543

It would have been wonderful to pass the House version, but it is very exciting for Sen. Brown to maintain his 100% pro-life voting record!

Thank you for all the work you have done on this!  Anne
