Today at 5:00pm the Boston Bar Association hosts a panel discussion on the New Buffer Zone. It appears that they lined up a half dozen BZ supporters and finally decided maybe they should have someone opposed to the BZ. They were lucky to get Phil Moran, one of the counsels in McCullen vs Coakley, who has already called the New BZ "draconian." Of course Phil is going to clean their plates because he has the Constitution on his side and knows much more about the whole thing than the half-dozen Boston Bar Association supporters, 16 Beacon Street (right across from the State House) at 5:00.
Thursday, Oct 2nd at 7:00 pm there will be an information session at the Braintree Library about Public Policy Question #5 which will appear on the ballot in Braintree and Weymouth. This will instruct the legislature to vote to require abortion facilities to be licensed and inspected. Right now there are sixteen unlicensed facilities in the Commonwealth.
